Benchmark Hospitality International Scores a Perfect Ten!
Ten Hotels & Resorts Achieve Four Diamond Status in 2010
The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, April 2010 …Benchmark Hospitality International has announced that ten of the company’s hotels and resorts have been awarded Four Diamonds in 2010 by AAA. The “perfect ten” Four Diamond properties are in locations coast to coast, from Florida to California. Greg Champion, Benchmark’s chief operating officer, made the announcement.
“We are thrilled that ten of our properties have achieved Four Diamonds,” said Mr. Champion.
“Emerging from a challenging year to achieve this prestigious honor is a remarkable accomplishment. We congratulate the hospitality teams at each property for consistently delivering an extraordinary experience for our guests.”

The Four Diamond Rating is one of the most respected in the lodging and restaurant industries in North America. Achieving Four Diamond status means that a hotel, resort or restaurant has undergone and successfully passed a rigorous appraisal process by trained evaluators, which inspect each property that receives the Award. Of the approximately 58,000 lodging and restaurant facilities evaluated by the American Automobile Association, distributors of the awards, only 3.5 percent earned a Four Diamond rating for 2010.
