Benchmark’s capabilities and services cover all phases of a project -- consulting on market demand and feasibility analysis, facilities design and construction, complete pre-opening marketing and technical services, and the profitable operational marketing and management of the property. Further, comprehensive purchasing services are provided through Benchmark Equipment Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Since 1986 Benchmark has expanded internationally, focused on promoting the “Conference Center Concept” as a new paradigm in the way resorts and hotels, corporate learning centers and day conference centers are designed and operated. Benchmark has experience with properties in Canada, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Panama. Benchmark has over 5,000 knowledgeable employees who are trained in all aspects of hospitality through Benchmark University. They recognize the importance of creating the balance of “Living, Learning, and Leisure”™ in all of our properties. Benchmark University was established in 1993 as the vehicle for enhancing the education level of our managers, and has since been extended to all employees, ensuring we were always a step ahead of the guests needs.
