Ed has over thirty-five years of diversified and significant experience as a consultant in helping organizations transform themselves and manage change. He is a recognized strategist, seminar leader and facilitator. He is also known as a “consultant’s consultant” and has earned a national reputation in the areas of customer loyalty, strategic and business planning, and change management.
Ed has written and spoken extensively. His most recent books are Renewing the American Dream: A Citizen’s Guide for Restoring our Competitive Advantage, which he co-authored, and Customer-Centered Reengineering: Remapping for Total Customer Value. He was a contributing author to the book, The Only Thing That Matters: Bringing the Power of the Customer Into the Center of Your Business, and co-author of Your Family Business: A Success Guide for Growth and Survival. He has also written three planning courses for the American Management Association: How to Write a Business Plan; How to Implement a Business Plan; and, Strategic Planning for Entrepreneurial Businesses.
Ed’s clients span a wide variety of industries and range from closely held and entrepreneurial businesses to major public and private sector entities. He has worked with organizations such as Motorola, John Deere, Jewel Foods, Osco Drugs, Brunos, Humana Health Care Plan Plans, Volkswagen, American Medical Association, National Automobile Dealers Association, and the U.S. Departments of Labor, Commerce and State.
